How to change the speed display from miles per hour to kilometres per hour

Procedure to change the digital display of speed from miles per hour to kilometres per hour for some Renaults.  This worked for my Grand Scenic.  The display will stay in kilometres per hour until the same procedure is done to switch back to miles per hour.

Steps:
Firstly, do not depress any of the pedals during this procedure.
Find the buttons on the end of the right-hand stalk behind the steering wheel.
Hold down the top button and keep it held down.
Place the ignition-key-card-thingy in its slot.
Hold down the start button.
At this point you should have one hand holding down the top button and the other holding down the start button, and your feet away from the pedals.
The dash should light up...
Keep both buttons held down.
The 0 speed in mph should start to flash*
Keep holding...
The 0 speed in kph will start flashing
Still holding...
The 0 speed in kph will stop flashing and be left on the display.
Release both buttons.
Job's a good'n.

It's the same procedure to change it back to mph.

*If at any point the speed is not 0, then I guess you were parked on a hill and the parking break has failed.  At this point the procedure is to release both buttons and the contents of your bowel simultaneously.
